Vuk Jeremic talks to Kathleen Hays about Europe. Reminds me – I first met Vuk when he came to a conference I ran. Vuk was then a special advisor to Boris Tadic, who was 4 days into his job as president of Serbia.
The British Secret service, who were managing the trip had lost the Serbians’ luggage. Boris told me “I have been president for 4 days, 2 of them while wearing the same suit.”
Vuk has since then served as foreign minister of Serbia, then was President of the UN General Assembly, ending his term a few months ago.
