Breakfast at an outdoor table next to a bus stop.
Watching the mixture of ages, income class, style and nationality pass by my breakfast table to catch the bus reminds me ….
When I first moved to the city it took a good long time to fully grasp that there is no stigma to City bus riding.
People explained their neighborhood to me based on subway stop and/or bus route – expert as to the public transportation system.
They would look at me funny when I said “Do you really ride the bus?”
Wouldn’t have considered the bus as a transportation option in Greenville, Los Angeles, Scottsdale or Boston.
